This is a story we at ChassisSim have been waiting to tell for a very long time. This was the story when ChassisSim made the transition from this is a good idea to oh my holy lord this really works.
This is the story of how ChassisSim was applied to the 2005-08 A1GP car, arguably one of the strangest open wheeler race cars to ever hit the race track. In this case study we are going to outline the challenge that was faced in modelling the A1GP race car, and ultimately what was done with ChassisSim to successfully model it.
