Linking race car data to ChassisSim – secrets to improve your lap time

May 19, 2011

Please watch the video attached.

One of the cornerstones of ChassisSim is it’s ability to interact with race data. The way it does this is through the monster file. The monster file is a space/tab delimited ASCII file that contains all the information ChassisSim needs to create a circuit and reverse engineer the race car vehicle parameters.

The monster file is the link between the data and ChassisSim. Getting this right will unlock what your car is truly capable of. Danny Nowlan the Director of ChassisSim Technologies shows you how in this video tutorial.

For further details look at this pdf that will show you how simple it is to create a monster file.
